Frequently asked questions

What is Usenet and how does PlusUsenet work?

Usenet is a worldwide network of newsgroups. PlusUsenet gives you secure, high-speed access: after payment your account is activated and you connect with your preferred newsreader.

Will I get a recurring subscription?

You choose. Auto-renewing keeps the subscription active until you cancel; one-time (prepaid) pays for a single period with no automatic renewal.

How quickly do I get access after ordering?

As soon as the payment is confirmed your account is usually activated within a few minutes, and we e-mail you the access details.

Can I add a VPN to any plan?

Yes. The VPN is an optional add-on available on every plan, for the same period as your subscription.

Is my connection secure?

Yes. Enable TLS/SSL in your newsreader to encrypt the traffic between your device and our servers.
